I started seriously meditating at the lowest point in my adult life. I had a toddler and just given birth to a new baby girl when my husband said he wanted out of our marriage. I was heart broken, devastated and terrified about supporting two children on my own.
The crushing pressure of that situation gave me two choices:
I could go up or I could go down.
I could go within or I could fall apart.
I started meditating for real. I started looking at myself, my patterns, my choices and my life for real. During that year I dug deep and in the process came into my own power. I experienced what all the sages and monks speak of: that the answers were inside of me. I was not a victim and I could transform my life.
Meditation has – hands down – transformed my life more than anything else. More than any therapy, book or program. It’s because in meditation we have a direct link to the Light and the Wisdom throughout the ages. During meditation we tap into our limitlessness and truth.
