Tantra means Union.
Tantra specifically refers to the lineages of India and Tibet, yet “tantric” practices are carried out wherever there is a desire for true Union, connection, and a balancing of the Masculine and Feminine polarities.
In the ancient temples of Egypt, the priests and priestesses carried out these practices. A fabulous book about these practices is the Magdalene Manuscript – the Sex Magik of Isis and Alchemies of Horus. I personally had flashbacks to ancient times when reading this book. I had flashes of living these mysteries with a priest-love I knew in Kemet (ancient Egypt) who passed through my life as one of my soulmates this lifetime. Was a trip, for sure!
